Hi guys,

How is it going? As I guess you heard, I am no longer driving the Jetta. It got smashed up pretty badly. But they gave me about $3,800 for it, so I'm not complaining too much. That allowed me to put a down payment on a Mazda 3. Zoom, zoom... It's really fun to drive. I drove down to Wasaga Beach and stayed with Luc and Simone for a week. It was lots of crazy fun, tanning, looking at the beach bodies, etc...

I don't know if you already now, but I am going to start a new job at Revenue Canada. I will be the
Assistant to the Executive Assistant of the Vice-Commissioner of Revenue Canada. It's a pretty long title to put on a business card, wouldn't you say?

So apart from that, I had started doing kickboxing, but after the accident I had to go through physio and stuff. I hope to get back to exercise this week. My back doesn't really hurt anymore, so I should be alright.

Tara is leaving for China in a couple weeks. She plans to work there for a while at her cousin's company and then go to Spain to start up a hostel. She's got the Vidosa clan there, so I'm sure everything will work out.

Jeep had a baby girl. Her name is Daliana, but I just call her Dali. And Jean-Michel had a baby boy and his name is Umivito. Umi means ocean in Japanese and Vito means Vitality or life, mom was saying... so it turns out to be a pretty meaningful name: Ocean of life... ooh... You must admit they know how to pick them! ah ah

Anyways, even though I don't write too often, I do often think about what you are up to. It's looks like you are having loads of fun with your healthy activities in your beautiful environment. I hope the monsoons that have touched down in China haven't veared your way too much... Is the season almost over?

I might teach Christopher how to play guitar. He is interested in learning and it would be a good opportunity for me to see how good I am at teaching guitar.

Papa and Mom will be leaving on September 12th to go over to Asia and coming back on October 8th or something. I hope I'm not ruining the surprise but just thought I would let you know.

I will wait until they come back and see how my finances are before moving out. January 1 sounds like a good day to be in a new apartement or house... we'll see what I can afford. Luckily, I am not starting at a CR position but at an AS-01 position, and come November, I will be getting a $1,000 raise just like that, because of the collective bargaining agreement between the union and the gov. So I should able to live comfortably. The challenge will be to remain perky and interested in the work. That might wear off pretty quickly. I will basically be a receptionist who chases down documents and makes sure they have a muffins and coffee at the meetings. But hey, for the amount they're paying, I am not going to complain. This change will give me time to focus on my artistic endeavours with Luc. The first talent showcase worked out really well. There's already a buzz among some key people here in the arts community, so we just have to keep the momentum going. I am writing some of my best songs to date. I just need to keep practicing and with a lesser workload, I will have more headspace to apply to my art, which is what I was really shooting for... Art is life, life is art...

Anyways... Thinking of you.
